Samsung

  1. Test build: this file will not install on Samsung TVs sold in shops
  2. It is signed with a Tizen test certificate, and Samsung TVs accept only a Samsung certificate
  3. It can be installed on a TV once it has been signed with a Samsung certificate

LG

  1. Not in the LG store yet: this file installs only on a TV in Developer Mode, using a computer
  2. On the TV, install the Developer Mode app from the LG store, sign in with your LG account and turn Dev Mode on
  3. On the computer, install the webOS CLI and add the TV with ares-setup-device (TV IP, port 9922, passphrase from the Developer Mode app)
  4. Download this file and run: ares-install -d tv assist-pro-lg-1.2.0.ipk
  5. Open the app once: it starts with a free trial
  6. Activate here with the MAC and key from the Account screen

Roku

  1. Not in the Roku store yet: this file installs only on a Roku in developer mode
  2. On the Roku remote press Home 3 times, Up 2 times, then Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, turn on the installer and choose a password
  3. On a computer on the same network, download this file and open http://the-Roku-IP in the browser, with the user rokudev and that password
  4. Upload the zip without unpacking it and install it
  5. Open the app once: it starts with a free trial
  6. Activate here with the MAC and key from the Account screen

Media Station X

  1. For Samsung, LG and other TVs that have the Media Station X app: no file to install
  2. Install Media Station X from the TV's store and open it
  3. Go to Settings → Start Parameter → Setup, type tre1.vip and confirm
  4. The app opens by itself every time Media Station X opens: it starts with a free trial
  5. Activate here with the MAC and key from the Account screen
